Barre City Pool Community Mural

For this project, I designed and led a week-long youth mural program for the Barre City Pool. Children explored pattern, lettering, storytelling, and collaborative art-making through hands-on activities before helping bring the final mural to life.

The workshops were designed so that the mural wasn't simply artwork created for the community—the children participated in the creative process that shaped it. Their drawings, patterns, marks, and ideas became part of the visual language of the finished piece.

The final mural transforms the pool house with an energetic welcome to the community: “Welcome to Barre City — Have Fun!”
